Kelli Kedis Ogborn; President and CEO

Kelli serves as President & CEO of H.S. Dracones LLC. In this capacity she oversees daily operations and client engagement for both company pillars—technology consulting and commercialization strategy for innovation and R&D portfolios. At its core, H.S. Dracones focuses on helping scientists and innovators build businesses by creating narratives to communicate technological value and impact, matching capabilities to the correct customer, identifying key markets, finding funding, and building coalitions to foster and influence discussions around technology and its broader market applications. 

Previously, she served as the Director of Business Development for Perceptronics Solutions Inc. and as a client site Congressional Liaison for Spire Communications and Booz Allen Hamilton at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). In that role, she provided advice to senior leadership and technical offices on Congressional engagement strategies to maintain the agency’s position and reputation as a premier science and technology organization.  

Kelli holds a Master’s Degree in Government and Security Studies from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University. She lives in Washington, D.C.

Kate Lucey Mace; VP of Language Science and Communications

Kate serves as the Vice President of Language Science and Communications. As a sociolinguist, she studies the role of language in society and the messages we convey through language choices.  Her area of interest is what the words we use mean, and how they influence subsequent action. She applies this expertise to work with our clients to communicate their work and its potential impact to the people who need to hear about it.

Previously, she served as the Assistant Director of Membership at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) where she helped large engineering consulting firms position themselves within their industry as well as the global marketplace. 

Kate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Boston College and a Master's Degree in Language and Communication from Georgetown University. She lives in Washington, D.C.
